speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ.
- ephesians 4:15
We are glad you are interested in the adult ministries at Bridge of Faith. Our church has a large focus on the children in our communities, but we also greatly desire to welcome, love, teach, fellowship with, and provide opportunities for adults who have a desire to explore or grow in their faith. As adults, you are the generation that will lead your neighbors to Christ. You are the ones who will disciple your children and families. You are the ones who will shine the light of Christ in your workplace and in your neighborhood.
You are gifted with deep gifts from the Spirit of God, ranging from teaching abilities to hospitality, building, creating, administration, gifts of faith and wisdom, and so much more. We desire to help you grow in the image of Jesus, support you to walk out your God-given calling, mourn with you when you mourn, celebrate with you when you celebrate, and make opportunities possible. We need you, and we believe we can and will serve you with loving hearts and supportive methods. Jesus Christ is central to everything we do and the Gospel of Jesus is preached centrally here at Bridge of Faith. We desire to exalt His name, make Him known to you and to the world, and to labor in love together to carry the Good News of Jesus to every child and adult to whom God gives us an opportunity to interact.
When I was a child, I used to speak like a child, think like a child, reason like a child; when I became a man, I did away with childish things. - 1 Corinthians 13:11
What if I'm not feeling gifted?
That's okay. Maybe you are struggling to get clean, pay your rent, recover your children from family services, repair a marriage, find your path, heal from a soul wound, or simply understand who God is and what you mean to Him. We've all been in various situations where darkness seemed to loom and hope seemed very dim. That is why we fully believe we are better together. Jesus is close to the broken-hearted and He accepts everyone who turn to Him in surrender. Come to church as you are; we are here for you.

Ministries Tailored for Adults
✜ Sunday Morning Small Groups
-Small groups range from classes on a specific Bible book or topic, a life issue, or ministry development. Class topics are available during different seasons of the year and may range from 1-3 classes being available at the same time. Starting time: 9:15 every Sunday.
✜ Sunday Morning Teaching and Worship
- The primary worship service and teaching is tailored for adults, but we are in a transition to incorporate the children more frequently into the service. We desire to do this so children and adults may learn, worship, and pray together. If you are a parent, please note that there are also children's services as well as an infant and toddler room, and a nursing room. The sermon has an ending time, but the gathering time has no specified ending. Adults may remain and pray, worship, spend time at the altar, join someone else in prayer, or take some time to meditate on God's Word. When the service is over, people may leave or remain as it suits them. Starting time: 10:30 every Sunday.
✜ Wednesday Evening Small Groups
- Wednesday evening is our REACH service, which is designed to provide children and adults with a free meal, fellowship, and an opportunity to grow in God's Word. The meal is offered first, and this is a great time to get to know other adults in the church and community. Children eat in separate areas from adults, allowing same-age fellowship and giving each age group from children to teens to adults an opportunity to connect with people their age. In these settings, hope and encouragement is found, relationships are developed, and friendly support is established over time. After the meal, each age group adjourns to a class. Adults currently have two classes available from which to choose. One class is held at the church and the other is held at the White River Coffee Shop, located next to the church on The Village property (owned by the church). Starting time for the meal is 6:30 PM (no need to sign up), and starting time for the classes is 7:00 PM.
✜ Other ministries for adults include participation in seasonal, church-hosted festivals, special holiday dinners, women's ministry (meets monthly-check calendar), volunteer opportunities, the food co-op, internships for young adults and high school students, and occasional counseling for those in need (as available).
Please Note: For cancellations due to weather or occasional changes to schedules, please check in with the church's Facebook page for updates.
