Expectations for Interning at Bridge of Faith
As an intern, you will be viewed as a leader among your peers, so the following issues must be taken seriously as you consider interning with us.
Bible Study: You will participate in morning Bible Studies with the other interns, and you will be expected to share and lead one occasionally. Also, you may be asked to lead students in Bible lessons.
Relationships: Our desire is that your relationships bring honor to Jesus Christ. We want you to mature as young men and women of God and so we encourage you not to have any unnecessary distractions from your personal growth.
Social Media: You are to set an example for others in this area. Profane language (even on a Liked or Shared post) is unacceptable. Gossip and mean-spirited communication is also unacceptable.
Time Off: There are no vacation days built into the internship. If you miss work due to personal reasons, you will lose pay for the time you miss.
*If illness prevents you from coming in to work, you must give as much notice as possible, preferably the night before. You will not lose pay for missing work due to illness.
Tardiness: If you arrive to work 15 minutes late three times, you will be dismissed from the internship program. You are encouraged to arrive early to set an example for the high school interns.
Pay: $2,000.00. You will be paid bi-weekly (four total payments).
In all things, you are expected to be on time and respectful!
When a task is completed, always ask, “What else can I help with?”
“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms” 1 Peter 4:10
