information
Thank you for your interest in coming to serve at Bridge of Faith Community Church!

As we strive to see a generation transformed through Jesus Christ, know that each day you are here is a day of planting seeds for an eternal harvest. Since Bridge of Faith began serving this community in 2005, we have seen many spiritual victories, and the best is yet to come!
At Bridge of Faith, our mission is to transform generations that transform communities.
Depending the Season Bridge of Faith offers a wide range of ministry opportunities. Summer projects range from construction, community outreach, and Children’s programing along with Fall, Winter, and Spring projects as well.

Ministry Flexibility
You would potentially be joining us for our daily ministry in our community. Depending on the season, time, weather, and needs of the day, experiences we encounter may vary and change on short notice. Please be flexible in this area.
On the church campus, there are many ministries that happen daily – come ready to serve and help where the need arises!

Our goal is to raise up the next generation of Christians in our church and community, and to disciple those already growing in Christ. So, when mission teams come and assist the ongoing ministry taking place, it pushes us along and blesses our people in tremendous ways. Your role will be to come along side a young group of believes and empower them to take ownership in the many ministry opportunities at Bridge of Faith.

Project Funds
While project funds are not required to serve with us, project funds are greatly appreciated! These funds allow us to move projects along quicker while your team is serving with us. On average, teams bring $2500 to help with projects. We could not do what we do without this tremendous help.
Meals
June teams serving with Summers at the Beach: individuals 18 years old and under can eat breakfast and lunch for free Monday-Thursday, and individuals over 18 years can eat breakfast and lunch for $5.00 Monday-Thursday. This is optional.
Another option for teams is the White River Coffee Co. We highly recommend this on-campus coffee shop. It is Christian-owned, and the specialty drinks and sandwiches are fantastic. For information and group rates, contact Dean O’Bryan at 417-770-7251.
We ask that teams pay for the Sunday lunch at La Pizza Cellar. Please plan for up to five additional people from the Bridge of Faith team to join you. One of our pastors will lead a tour following this lunch.
Lodging
Teams may make use of the church’s Lodge facility. This building sleeps up to 32 people (16 on the men’s side and 16 on the women’s side) and has separate men’s and women’s bunk rooms and bathrooms with showers. Included with the Lodge is the Gathering Room - this space has a laundry machine and a full kitchen with appliances.

We would like to do an outreach event / revival / door-to-door evangelism. Can we fit this into the week we are there? While we appreciate your enthusiasm for additional outreach, we typically do not plan extra activities beyond our established programs. Our current outreach initiatives have been carefully developed and refined over decades, focusing on relationship-building and continuous engagement with the community. These programs are running effectively and are a vital part of our mission. We encourage teams to join us in supporting the local church by participating in these ongoing efforts, which are integral to our ministry and community impact.
-
What projects will we be working on?We strive to offer a diverse range of serving opportunities for mission teams. This can include construction projects, ministry programming on the church campus, or meeting a specific need in our community. Our goal is always to serve our city in a tangible way, though we may not always have the capacity to include every team in these community projects. Once you've signed up to serve, we’ll share some specifics based on the anticipated projects according to the timing of your visit. We'll also provide more specific project details as your trip date approaches.
-
Is *date* available for my team to come serve? If you are interested in coming to serve, please fill out this form. We will contact you as soon as possible regarding availability.
-
Can someone on our team bring an RV for the week?Depending on availability, yes! We have an RV hookup available on campus. Here you will find the RV Agreement
-
Can a member(s) of our team drive back and forth every day, instead of staying in the Lodge?Yes, team members can commute daily if they prefer. However, we strongly encourage everyone to stay together at the Lodge for the week. Staying together fosters a sense of community among team members and with the local church body, enriching the overall experience at Bridge of Faith.

Is the church providing meals through White River Coffee Co.?No, the church does not provide meals through White River Coffee Co. Each team is responsible for preparing their own meals during their stay. However, White River Coffee Co. is a popular option for breakfast and lunch, which many teams choose to purchase. This Christian-owned coffee shop, located on Bridge of Faith’s campus, offers specialty sandwiches and drinks, and is always happy to serve our mission teams.
